This project was a minor interior renovation and interior design for an unassuming ranch home in the beautiful Pipes Canyon area of Pioneertown, California. The original layout worked well but finishes and fixtures needed refreshing.
The lux rock & roll theme carries throughout, from the gold velvet sofa to the gold closets to the all-black kitchen (even the knives have black blades).
An original homestead cabin was converted to a creative studio for writers, musicians, painters and yogis alike to find inspiration and enjoy the serenity of the canyon. The interior was clad in OSB and white washed for a clean but rustic feel.
