BAKKER HOUSE RENOVATION PALM SPRINGS
RENOVATION, 2022 (IN DEVELOPMENT)
10 bed · 11 bath · 10,400 SF
This was a major restoration of a 1937 Spanish colonial revival home in Palm Springs, California. The home was originally owned by Irving Florsheim of Florsheim Shoes and the design was attributed to W.C. Pennell. A mid-century ADU was attributed to Albert Frey. The home is more famously known as the home of Jim and Tammy-Faye Bakker.
A major renovation and addition to the home, including addition of a basement, increased ADU and new garage structure, increased the space and functionality for a growing family that entertains quite a lot. We also undid a number of poor renovations that were done over the decades to restore some original character and correct some poor construction.
